How to change your flight in My Trip

Did you book with KLM, Air France, or Delta Air Lines? Depending on your ticket type, you can change your flight in My Trip. There, you’ll get an overview of flights available. If your new flight costs more, you'll need to pay the difference. Our KLM Customer Contact Center can't offer flights other than those listed.

How much does it cost to change my flight?

The cost depends on your route, travel class, and ticket option. If your new flight costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference. If it costs less, you’ll receive a voucher for the remaining value.

Economy Class

Check your ticket type to see whether you can change your flight and which fees apply.

  • Basic ticket: You cannot change your flight.
  • Light ticket: You cannot change your flight.
  • Standard ticket: You can change your flight for EUR 70, plus any fare difference.
  • Flex ticket: You can change your flight without a change fee. A fare difference may apply.

Business Class

Check your ticket type to see which fees apply.

  • Standard ticket: You can change your flight for EUR 70, plus any fare difference.
  • Flex ticket: You can change your flight without a change fee. A fare difference may apply.

Economy Class

Check your ticket type to see whether you can change your flight and which fees apply.

  • Light ticket: You can change your flight for EUR 200, plus any fare difference. You cannot change a Light ticket from Europe to the United States, Canada, Mexico, or Papeete. This restriction does not apply to flights from the United Kingdom.
  • Standard ticket: You can change your flight for EUR 200, plus any fare difference.
  • Flex ticket: You can change your flight without a change fee. A fare difference may apply.

Premium Comfort Class

Check your ticket type to see which fees apply.

  • Standard ticket: You can change your flight for EUR 250, plus any fare difference.
  • Flex ticket: You can change your flight without a change fee. A fare difference may apply.

Business Class

You can always change a Business Class ticket.

  • Light ticket: You can change your flight for EUR 300, plus any fare difference.
  • Standard ticket: Your ticket conditions show whether you need to pay a change fee. A fare difference may also apply.
  • Flex ticket: You can change your flight without a change fee. A fare difference may apply.

After we’ve had to cancel your flight

Usually, we’ll automatically rebook you on the next available flight. Would you like a different flight? Follow the steps in My Trip to select a new one.

When you’re traveling together

Traveling with friends or family, but only need to change the flights for some passengers? You can do so in My Trip. If there are 10 passengers or more in your group, please get in touch. We’re happy to help.

Flying Blue reward ticket

Booked a reward ticket? Please contact Flying Blue customer service to change your flight.

Extra options

Did you reserve extra options for your original flight, such as a seat or meal? We’ll try to add the same options to your new flight. If they cost more, you’ll need to pay the difference. You can also cancel the extra options. If they cost less, you’ll receive a voucher for the remaining value.
